Increase to statutory payments effective February 2012

With effect from 1st February 2012 The Employment Rights (Increase of Limits) Order increases the following statutory payments:

• A 'week's pay' for the purpose of calculating a redundancy payment increases from £400 to £430
• The maximum compensatory award for unfair dismissal increases from £68,400 to £72,300
• Guarantee Pay for the purpose of lay-off increases from £22.20 to £23.50
