New Director appointed following the acquisition of Drury PSM

Alcumus, the compliance and certification group is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Whittam as Director of Drury PSM (Drury), one of the UK’s leading HR, employment law and health & safety outsourcing companies.

Drury has recently been acquired by Alcumus to augment the compliance and workplace risk management expertise of the group, which includes highly regarded operating subsidiaries Sypol, Info Exchange and ISOQAR.

Chris has over 15 years experience at senior management levels in the health & safety and employment law compliance sector in the UK, and in his new role will continue to grow and extend Drury’s respective areas of expertise across the combined customer base.

Commenting on his appointment, Chris said: “I am pleased to be joining Drury at this time. I look forward to the challenge of helping Drury and Alcumus continue to innovate and grow within the HR and health & safety compliance market.

As Managing Director of Ellis Whittam, Chris played a vital role in its growth from a fledgling consultancy into a significant market player. He has greatly enhanced the business performances of similar companies including Citation and LPMS, developing a strong track record in sales and marketing.

Prior to working in this industry, Chris acquired 20 years experience in a specialist compliance sector of commercial insurance.

He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
